Senior Manager, Technical Revenue supporting MongoDB

📋 Description

• Evaluate the revenue accounting implications of new products, pricing and packaging changes
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda, position papers, and supporting documentation to
• Advise stakeholders across Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, FP&A, Pricing and Packaging, Product, and
• Engage proactively in business initiatives to incorporate revenue accounting considerations early
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ASC 606 for software and SaaS arrangements, including variable
• Review contract documentation and accounting analyses to ensure revenue recognition complies with

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CA qualification is preferred.
• At least seven years of relevant experience in a similar technical revenue accounting role, ideally
• Big Four accounting or advisory experience.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and technical revenue accounting, including complex contract structures
• Strong business acumen and the ability to assess the accounting implications of new products
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex
