Senior Manager, Workers' Compensation Claims

📋 Description

• Supervise and coach a small claims team; direct daily workload.
• Manage own caseload of complex, high-severity WC claims from notice to closure.
• Review coverage decisions, reserves, and settlements per guidelines.
• Coordinate with TPAs, carriers, defense counsel, and providers to resolve claims.
• Onboard and train new staff; ensure PEO workflows and state compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of WC statutes, filing requirements, and best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years experience in TPA or PEO claims.
• Mentoring or leading peers and junior staff.
• Knowledge of WC regs across multiple states.
• Proficient with claims management systems and RMIS.
• Experience with Return to Work and managed care coordination.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Vendor management experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management.
