Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Turbomachinery

📋 Description

• Produce components and assemblies for the fuel and oxidizer turbopumps of the Aeon-R and Aeon-R Vac
• Own the manufacturing trades and develop the processes for fabricating, testing, and delivering
• Serve as the main point-of-contact between the manufacturing and design teams as we optimize Aeon-R
• Drive projects to completion and solve challenging issues unique to rocket turbopumps and
• Work at the interfaces of design, development, and analysis of turbomachinery

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in engineering or related technical field and 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with turbopump assembly procedures, including rotor balancing, interference fits
• Manufacturing Process Experience: Fluids Testing, Machining, Additive
• Knowledge of general assembly and test procedures, including tolerance stack-up analysis
• Experience with Siemens NX or other CAD and analysis tools
• Experience with Tooling design, including conceptualization, modeling and drafting, and detailed
