Senior Market Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain market data components including feed handlers, normalization pipelines
• Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput services for real-time market data consumed by
• Drive reliability and performance improvements through observability, on-call participation, and
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to engineering standards on a lean team.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver market data

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience building and maintaining production low-latency systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one area of market data infrastructure (feed handlers
• Proficiency in low-latency Java (or C++) and familiarity with high-throughput messaging frameworks
• Familiarity with venue/exchange connectivity and market data protocols (FIX, ITCH/OUCH, multicast).
• Track record shipping features end-to-end and operating what you build in production.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs
