Senior NDE Specialist, Immersion Ultrasonic Testing

📋 Description

• Act as primary point-of-contact for Immersion Ultrasonic Testing (IUT) technique development
• Work closely with other UT Specialists, UT Level 2 & 3 Inspectors and NDE Engineers to develop
• Evaluation of acquired IUT data in accordance with specified acceptance criteria
• Engage in proactive mentorship and provide training and oversight for less experienced Inspectors
• Interface with internal and outside stakeholders regarding inspection results and process
• Develop and publish part-specific IUT techniques for a variety of complex parts. Plan and program

🎯 Requirements

• Current ASNT Level 3 certification in Ultrasonic Testing Level 3 certification in UT/PAUT/IUT per
• A minimum of 3 years acting in a Level 3 capacity for Immersion Ultrasonic Testing of aerospace
• Extensive (5+ years) verifiable experience as a UT Level 3 in an aerospace setting or equivalent
• Experience contributing to system design and qualification efforts for aerospace customers (i.e.
• Deep knowledge and integrated relationships with immersion tank vendors, with knowledge of industry
• Experience auditing 3rd Party NDE Vendors
