Senior Payroll Analyst

📋 Description

• Process and review multi-state payrolls for accuracy and timely transmission.
• Maintain payroll records and conduct periodic data audits.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile accounts and tax liabilities.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Partner with HR on employee changes and benefits administration.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least five years of direct payroll processing experience.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll and supporting audits.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll administration and tax regulations.
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables.
