Senior Principal, Business Management - Debt

📋 Description

• Lead a book of debt mandates from IOI through close as the primary negotiator and senior execution
• Own transaction velocity and close rates across your deal book, contributing directly to the Debt
• Author credit memos and pricing recommendations and present transactions to Credit Committee, with
• Lead deal teams of junior team members — staffing transactions, reviewing underwriting, diligence
• Run debt execution with lenders and institutional capital providers inside shared accounts, in
• Partner with Industry Coverage to qualify opportunities early, take clean drivership of execution

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA, JD, or advanced degree
• 10-12+ years of total experience, including 7+ years in renewable energy project finance
• Deep expertise in project finance debt structures for solar, wind, and storage, including hands-on
• Experience preparing and presenting transactions to credit or investment committee, ideally with
• Experience leading and mentoring deal teams, including reviewing junior team members' underwriting
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship skills with developers, lenders, and investors, and the
