Senior Product Design Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the dbt product design team across platform and CLI products.
• Manage and coach designers, owning problem definition through delivery.
• Build a culture of high-quality design for deeply technical users.
• Define UX strategy for dbt product experiences; align with roadmap.
• Shape AI-powered product experiences for data workflows.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to drive cross-functional design at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in product design with 5+ years managing designers.
• Strong people management: coaching, feedback, and performance development.
• Cross-functional leadership with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Marketing, and execs.
• Designing for technically complex products such as ELT, data infra, analytics.
• Designing AI-powered or agentic product experiences; understand AI vs copilots.
• Operationalizing AI workflows across the design lifecycle at scale.
