Senior Product Engineer - Booking Management

📋 Description

• Lead critical projects across checkout, order management, tax management, and traveler self-service
• Streamline and localize checkout flows so travelers can complete a reservation in just a few clicks
• Build foundational systems for organizers and travelers to view, modify, and manage reservations
• Expand tax capabilities across jurisdictions to enable compliant selling
• Own the reliability of booking and order management systems
• Lead booking projects end-to-end from discovery to rollout and incident response

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of product engineering expertise with 4+ years architecting complex e-commerce, booking
• Proven track record in high-scale consumer checkout, marketplace, travel, or e-commerce platforms
• Broad practical experience in production-level checkout and order flows including pricing, tax
• Strong backend mastery in Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, Python, Go, Java, or Node.js with agility to ramp
• Full-stack comfort to build the React interface for booking flows
• Deep expertise in distributed systems: order state machines, idempotency, exactly-once semantics
