Senior Product Manager, Authorization Optimization

📋 Description

• Own the authorization optimization roadmap from strategy through delivery, setting priorities
• Determine the most effective approach to improving authorization performance, including when to
• Create detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while managing and
• Define and evolve APIs, data models, and integration interfaces that enable authorization and
• Identify, assess, and develop strategic partnerships with PSPs, payment gateways, acquirers
• Build and maintain issuer and BIN-level intelligence to understand authorization performance

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of product management experience, including ownership of product roadmaps and
• Hands-on experience developing payments products, with a deep understanding of issuer authorization
• Strong knowledge of decline recovery, intelligent retries, 3D Secure, and PSD2/SCA frameworks
• Demonstrated success improving authorization performance and increasing approval rates for
• Experience writing detailed technical specifications and defining APIs, data models, or integration
• Familiarity with backend systems or high-volume transaction processing environments.
