Senior QA Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for a new integration/middleware layer connecting a
• Perform API-level functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Validate synchronous and asynchronous (event-driven) flows, including error handling and
• Collaborate with the Business Analyst to translate documented business flows into test scenarios.
• Log, track, and verify defect resolution across environments (Development → QA → UAT → Production).
• Support automation of API test suites where applicable.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience, with a focus on API/backend testing and independent ownership of test
• Experience testing REST APIs (Postman or equivalent tooling).
• Experience writing and maintaining structured test cases and test plans.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing within a GitLab CI (or equivalent) workflow.
• Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial services.
• Good English communication skills (B2+) — daily collaboration with a US-based team.
