Senior Recovery Certification and Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead vessel certification efforts; main contact with regulators through lifecycle.
• Coordinate with regulators and cert bodies (USCG, ABS, USSF, NASA, FAA).
• Support offshore recovery campaigns; ensure vessel systems meet cert/reg requirements.
• Apply ops experience to design, certify, and implement future landing-platform capabilities.
• Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships with internal teams and external agencies to support objectives and cadence.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting offshore vessel certification with USCG, ABS; DNV/USSF/FAA preferred.
• Strong understanding of marine engineering principles, regulations, and certification requirements.
• Ability and willingness to travel ~25% with occasional weekend travel.
• Experience in offshore maritime operations or related marine environment.
• Ability to communicate with regulators, engineering teams, and offshore operations.
