Senior Revenue Accountant

📋 Description

• Maintain the NetLessor lease revenue system in NetSuite to support complete and accurate lease
• Coordinate with the Billing team to identify revenue billing and revenue recognition timing
• Partner with Sales and Billing teams to confirm sales orders are structured to support proper
• Monitor accounts receivable balances, evaluate collectability, and record reserves in accordance
• Align sales commission expense recognition with the related revenue and applicable accounting
• Ensure long-term revenue deferrals are recorded, reconciled and amortized accurately

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
• 4-8 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with lease revenue recognition or revenue accounting in a recurring-revenue environment
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition policies, accounts receivable reserve
• Advanced Excel skills and a strong aptitude for technology; Power Query experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interpret, reconcile and analyze large data sets
