Senior Security Engineer I, IAM

📋 Description

• Build IAM across internal apps, Okta, Google Workspace, AWS, and BigQuery.
• Design least-privilege access models and enterprise identity architectures.
• Develop identity threat detection and response for workforce and apps.
• Collaborate with engineering to review permission models and secure authorization.
• Analyze identity telemetry and incident response workflows.
• Communicate identity risk and architecture tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Identity engineering.
• Experience designing or implementing IAM controls for enterprise systems, cloud environments, SaaS platforms, or internally built applications.
• Strong understanding of least privilege, RBAC, ABAC, privileged access, lifecycle, and access reviews.
• Hands-on experience with Okta, Google Workspace Identity, and Google Cloud permission models.
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, and related session, token, and federation patterns.
• Experience partnering with software teams to review permission models and improve access controls in custom applications.
