📋 Description

• Own backend services powering Coinbase Advisor and Strategies, from technical design through launch
• Build integrations with Coinbase's trading APIs so agent recommendations and user-configured
• Develop our agentic harness, including tool calling, orchestration, persistent state, and recovery
• Shape agent behavior through prompt engineering, evals, and conversation analysis, partnering with
• Improve service reliability, latency, observability, and execution safety, including retry behavior
• Partner with frontend engineering, product, design, trading infrastructure, and legal/compliance to

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep backend expertise and a track
• Strong experience with API design, distributed systems, data modeling, testing, and debugging
• Proficiency in Go or demonstrated ability to learn it quickly
• Experience building production LLM or agentic systems, including tool calling, orchestration, or
• Proven ability to take ambiguous projects from zero to production with minimal oversight and sound
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs
