Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain core ledger functionality that underpins Lean's SwiftX compliance use case and
• Own the billing system end-to-end — its reliability, maintenance, and ongoing evolution
• Deliver on the Mal integration, a strategically committed new integration with direct revenue
• Cover ongoing payouts infrastructure — incident response, client features, and DC-related work —
• Drive stability, performance, and scalability improvements proactively across the squad's domain
• Give design-level code reviews, contribute to refinement, and write clear technical specifications

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend engineering in Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, microservices, and REST APIs
• Production experience with Kafka for event-driven systems
• Data layer proficiency: PostgreSQL and Redis
• Familiarity with build and delivery tooling: Maven, Docker, Jenkins
• Observability mindset: Prometheus and Grafana in production environments
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tooling (e.g. Claude) in day-to-day work
