Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Engineering

📋 Description

• Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services at Mozilla.
• Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric solutions.
• Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows that improve developer productivity.
• Guide team members and promote engineering standards for usability and maintainability.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for platform delivery.
• Write proposals and briefs for new policies, processes, and platform capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering; Platform/Cloud/SRE/DevOps focus
• Proven technical leadership experience
• Expertise in ArgoCD, Grafana, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Backstage
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go
• Strong cloud-native skills; GCP preferred, AWS acceptable
• Excellent communication and ability to thrive in ambiguity
