Senior Software Engineer - Data Lake Ingestion

📋 Description

• Design and scale CDC, snapshot, and streaming ingestion into the data lake.
• Migrate legacy snapshot pipelines to newer architectures.
• Improve pipeline reliability, scale, data quality, and monitoring.
• Build self-service onboarding flows and tooling for databases and schemas.
• Collaborate with platform teams and data consumers on ingestion patterns.
• Implement access controls, PII handling, and retention pipelines.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience building backend platforms or distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python with clean, high-performance code.
• Deep expertise with relational databases (Postgres) and CDC mechanisms.
• Experience building and operating large-scale streaming systems using Kafka, Flink, or Spark.
• Familiarity with AWS S3, Kubernetes, and schema governance.
