Senior Software Engineer, FinOps

📋 Description

• Own the forecasting, monitoring, and alerting systems for cloud, SaaS, and AI cost and usage
• Build and maintain the full technology stack, including data pipelines, processing engines, backend
• Design scalable systems that integrate cleanly with others, evaluating trade-offs as complexity
• Establish and publish engineering practices for design review, testing, code review, documentation
• Trace cost and usage anomalies to their root cause and communicate findings — including relevant
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, and review all output before it reaches

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production software, with strong proficiency in Python and Django
• Experience designing and delivering APIs, and scaling and integrating systems across complex
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS also valued) and Kubernetes, including
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a component, from design and implementation through testing
• Experience leading cross-team projects and making design decisions with incomplete information, and
• Clear communication with engineering, finance, and executive audiences, including financial
