Senior Software Engineer - Incident Insights & Readiness

📋 Description

• Own and improve on-call processes; build platforms for rotations.
• Define incident response processes; design tooling; collaborate with product teams.
• Contribute to post-mortems; drive learning and reduce friction.
• Facilitate incident reviews; promote learning and blamelessness across teams.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching; accelerate growth through reviews.
• Train on-call engineers in incident management and post-mortems.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building software; Go, Python, and some TypeScript.
• Experience with distributed systems; Kubernetes; complex failure modes.
• End-to-end ownership of ambiguous technical problems.
• Incident analysis; identify systemic risks; drive improvements.
• On-call rotations experience; incident commander a plus.
• Mentoring engineers; cross-functional initiatives; influence without authority.
