Senior Software Engineer, Java

📋 Description

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full-stack apps for CLEAR's identity platform.
• Own projects end-to-end from discovery to rollout and operational support.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Ops to translate problems into scalable solutions.
• Improve system reliability, performance, testing, observability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to improve scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews and engineering best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional full-stack software engineering.
• Experience with Java, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infra.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native apps on AWS.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and ownership.
