Senior Software Engineer, Ledgering

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate balance and transaction systems of record.
• Build settlement orchestration for account payments (schedules, amounts, deposits).
• Develop self-serve ledgering APIs with durable semantics and clear contracts.
• Emit balance and settlement data trusted by downstream finance teams.
• Design and implement high-volume distributed transaction-processing systems.
• Lead complex projects end to end and mentor other engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience with Bachelor's; or 6 years with Master's; or PhD with 3 years.
• Experience designing and operating distributed, high-throughput, fault-tolerant services.
• Experience building money-movement systems (ledgers, settlement, treasury).
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Go and strong SQL.
• Experience leading complex projects across multiple teams.
• High standards for software architecture, CI/CD, and observability.
