Senior Software Engineer, Lending

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of backend systems
• Connect lending products with shared platforms
• Drive cross-team initiatives from problem to rollout
• Own tech problems with business impact; provide clarity in ambiguity
• Define APIs, data contracts, and integration patterns for speed and safety
• Design for scale, resiliency, observability, and ownership

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building/operating production software at scale
• Strong backend fundamentals; Ruby on Rails or similar
• Experience with APIs and distributed systems in production
• Experience with transactional databases, asynchronous processing, caching
• System design judgment; tradeoffs on correctness and scalability
• Track record leading complex multi-team fintech projects
