Senior Software Engineer (Monitor Ingestion team)

📋 Description

• Join a cross-functional team that owns metrics collection and ingestion end to end, from the agent
• Report to the Engineering Manager and solve performance, scalability and correctness problems
• Lead technical design for features across the agent and backend, and collaborate with product and
• Be part of a team whose main goal is to work together to build the best product we can.
• Take part in an on-call rotation to handle urgent issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced coding skills with 5+ years of professional experience in at least one of Rust, Go or C/C++
• Solid systems-programming background: Linux internals, processes, control groups, networking and
• Experience building performance-sensitive software that runs on customer infrastructure
• Familiarity with distributed systems: horizontally scalable services, and/or event-driven
• Familiarity with observability tools and telemetry
• Fluency in English
