Senior Software Engineer - Observability

📋 Description

• Solve scaling bottlenecks in critical services in our Logging, Metrics, Traces & Alerting
• Design and evolve APIs that will be used by other engineers in product teams
• Identify and tackle bottlenecks and single points of failures to improve reliability
• Drive features and product idealization, implementation, and adoption
• Collaborate on planning and refinement, providing input to align engineering and reduce complexity
• Respond to alerts and duty responsibilities, supporting other engineers and troubleshooting

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with highly distributed systems
• Expertise in designing and implementing APIs and data pipelines for high-throughput, real-time data
• Experience improving software reliability including availability, performance, latency, efficiency
• Proficiency in Go and/or Java
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Solid understanding of system design and tradeoffs
