Senior Software Engineer, Reporting Engine

📋 Description

• Design and build scalable backend services for reporting and data workflows.
• Drive architectural decisions across distributed systems and APIs.
• Lead technical initiatives for scalability, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Build and evolve systems with compute- and IO-intensive workloads with strong correctness.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver performant capabilities.
• Improve observability, resiliency, and tooling across production systems.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale backend or distributed systems.
• Strong programming in Kotlin, Java, Python, or similar backend languages.
• Deep understanding of system design, APIs, concurrency, networking, and performance optimization.
• Experience designing and operating AWS cloud-native services.
• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
• Experience designing application data models and services on relational and distributed storage.
