📋 Description

• Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to produce an industry-leading search engine offering
• Contribute to Elasticsearch full time, building new search features and fixing intriguing bugs
• Work with a globally distributed team focused on vector search capabilities and search relevance
• Be an expert on Elasticsearch search relevance; identify and drive improvements in this area.
• Be autonomous, guiding projects from design through to delivery with other engineers.
• Collaborate across functions and teams to adapt to business priorities and ensure quality outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience with search or vector databases; used HNSW, IVF, or similar algorithms at
• Strong core Java skills; familiarity with standard data structures, concurrency constructs, and
• Ability to design and lead cross-functional initiatives; own outcomes and oversee project progress.
• Experience with multiple source control workflows and CI processes; comfortable collaborating
