Senior Storage Engineer, File & Block

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate scalable multi-tenant file and block storage on CoreWeave's fleet.
• Own data path and control plane for file and block storage; enable petabyte-scale deals.
• Improve reliability, durability, observability; monitor with telemetry, metrics, dashboards.
• Collaborate with platform, product, and infra teams to deliver storage across the stack.
• Mentor engineers on distributed, high-performance systems; share best practices.
• Leverage RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, RoCE, InfiniBand, SPDK for performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–10 years building storage/distributed systems.
• Go strongly preferred; C or Rust a plus.
• Kubernetes experience: CSI, provisioning, resize, snapshots.
• Production experience with distributed or networked file systems and/or block storage.
• Experience with multi-tenant storage controls (provisioning, tenancy, data protection).
• Familiarity with CockroachDB, Temporal, and gRPC/Protobuf.
