Senior Substation Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee detailed electrical engineering designs for substations.
• Prepare layouts, single-line diagrams, grounding, and protection schematics.
• Contribute to designs for solar, wind, battery storage, and grid integration.
• Review EPC proposals, equipment specs, and vendor documentation.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, transmission, and studies teams.
• Manage deliverables to meet deadlines, budget, and quality targets.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 6+ years experience in utilities, energy, or renewable sector.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license and US residence.
• Strong knowledge of power systems and renewable technologies.
• Experience designing and reviewing high-voltage substation drawings.
• Familiarity with analytical tools and engineering software.
