Senior Tax Accountant

📋 Description

• Own the tax ticket queue end to end: triage, research, resolve, and document indirect tax questions
• Deliver responsive, high-quality service to business partners, especially Account Executives, with
• Escalate deal-specific questions to the Tax Technology and Operations team and policy questions to
• Track ticket volume, recurring themes, and turnaround times, and share insights that guide FAQs
• Manage US sales and use tax compliance, including data gathering, return preparation and review
• Support Canada GST/HST/PST/QST and Mexico IVA compliance, including data gathering and coordination

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of indirect tax experience in public accounting, in-house at a company, or a combination
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of US sales and use tax compliance, including return preparation and multistate
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain tax concepts to non-tax
• Customer service mindset and a strong work ethic: responsive, organized, and accountable for
