Senior Tax Analyst

📋 Description

• Lead the preparation and calculation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance
• Prepare deferred tax asset and liability calculations, tax-basis balance sheets, and valuation
• Assist with tax footnote disclosures and tax-rate reconciliations.
• Reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns across multiple state and local
• Review customer exemption certificates, resolve billing tax disputes, and support state and local
• Prepare tax-related general ledger journal entries during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, corporate tax, or a hybrid environment.
• Working knowledge of ASC 740 income tax accounting principles and general sales tax concepts.
• Strong analytical curiosity and a habit of investigating discrepancies, tracing data to its source
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and concisely in both written and verbal
• Comfortable working in a structured environment where calculations, documentation, and work papers
