Software Engineer - Compiler

📋 Description

• Tackle core challenges at data modeling, query compilation, and analytics.
• Design, build, and maintain compiler infrastructure translating spreadsheets to optimized queries.
• Apply advanced optimization strategies to improve performance across workloads.
• Contribute to backend (Rust) and frontend foundations (TypeScript) for workflow optimizations.
• Debug, analyze, and resolve complex issues to ensure robustness.
• Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to review designs and code.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience engineering high-quality software systems
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining complex infrastructure or core platform services
• Deep understanding of CS fundamentals, particularly compilers, algorithms, SQL Optimization
• Passion for teamwork, technical ownership, and continually raising the engineering bar
• Experience working in an iterative, high-cadence environment
