📋 Description

• Design, build and operate backend services, APIs and data-processing workflows for the Data
• Develop model-execution workflows, versioned outputs, annotation capabilities and dataset-catalogue
• Improve the scalability and reliability of systems for large-scale inference, automated evaluation
• Investigate and resolve reliability, performance and cost issues across petabyte-scale data and
• Contribute to designs covering data locality, scheduling, capacity, backpressure, failure recovery
• Collaborate with model engineering, AI Platform, infrastructure, compute, storage and data teams to

🎯 Requirements

• Strong production software-engineering experience in Python, including building maintainable
• Experience designing, building or operating distributed systems for data-intensive or
• Delivered reliable software from design through deployment and production operation.
• Good system-design fundamentals and ability to make sound technical trade-offs within a complex
• Comfortable investigating unfamiliar systems and diagnosing reliability, performance or operational
• Clear communication and effective collaboration across teams; ability to take meaningful ownership
