Software Engineer, Gateway & Networking Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Own API and Kubernetes Gateways API stacks: routing, TLS/mTLS, rate limiting, observability.
• Drive migrations from HAProxy to Envoy across zones with no customer-visible regression.
• Manage L4/L7 traffic, load balancing, global routing, and TLS transport tuning.
• Set technical direction for the gateway stack and establish engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers and lead post-mortems, coordinating across teams and leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Production experience writing Go
• Deep experience with networking and traffic infrastructure (L4/L7, proxies)
• Deep Kubernetes experience, Gateway API or Ingress, operators/controllers, multi-cluster
• Strong TLS/mTLS and edge authentication, performance tuning
• Track record of setting technical direction and leading initiatives across teams
• Clear communication about your contributions and cross-team collaboration
