Software Engineer I (Connected Devices)

📋 Description

• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for device and platform testing, including hardware-in-the-loop execution
• Develop automated validation for device state machines, triggers, connectivity flows, telemetry
• Maintain, implement, and extend automation frameworks and tools for device or cloud platform
• Investigate device and platform failures using logs, telemetry data, debug traces, and system
• Automate testing for device provisioning, OTA updates, connectivity recovery, error handling, and
• Participate in design discussions to improve testability, observability, and reliability across

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in test automation, software engineering, or SDET roles, ideally with cloud
• Good coding skills in Python, C#, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, etc.
• Understanding of state machines, event-driven systems, real-time execution, and hardware
• Experience diagnosing failures using logs, traces, and serial-level diagnostics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated hardware test environments.
• Proven ability to deliver reliable automation for complex cloud/firmware features.
