Software Engineer, Identity

📋 Description

• Drive design and implementation of identity infrastructure for secure auth across enterprise systems.
• Manage authentication: SSO, MFA, and federated identity (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Manage authorization: ReBAC, ABAC, RBAC.
• Work with auditors to enforce identity governance per security standards (NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001).
• Present technical information to teams, guiding identity management best practices.
• Collaborate with teams across enterprises, startups, and government customers.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of full-time engineering experience in infrastructure and identity systems.
• Infrastructure expertise: IAM controls, IaC (Terraform, Pulumi), microservice deployment.
• Hands-on experience with OpenFGA, Authzed, Cedar, Topaz, or similar frameworks at scale.
• Strong understanding of Zanzibar-based ReBAC models and access evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and JWT.
• Extensive experience with distributed systems and public cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Track record of independent ownership of successful engineering projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills translating tech concepts.
