Software Engineer III, Content Storage Gateway

📋 Description

• Design and implement new components of our platform, contributing to technical proposals and design
• Optimize upload and download pipelines that handle billions of requests and hundreds of terabytes
• Design and implement scalable services with a focus on reliability, observability, operability, and
• Use data — metrics, logs, query analysis — to identify bottlenecks, validate changes, and inform
• Contribute to feature roadmap discussions and bring ideas for improving our platform.
• Participate in on-call rotation and drive improvements to incident response and system resilience.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated ownership of features
• Experience deploying and operating microservices in a cloud environment.
• Experience building services and/or tooling using languages such as Java, Go, Scala, or Python.
• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and metrics-based monitoring and alerting.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and a desire to learn new things.
• Preferred: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
