Software Engineer, Integrations (US + Calgary)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and optimize integration workflows
• Manage connectors and APIs for HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems
• Build native connections and handle auth flows, pagination, rate limits, schema drift, partial
• Turn opaque sync errors into clear, actionable feedback
• Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineering and Implementation to grow platform capabilities
• Work across distributed system (Go API, Temporal workflows, Python transformation engine, frontend)

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years building and shipping production software; Python and/or Go preferred
• Hands-on experience with third-party APIs: REST/SOAP, webhooks, OAuth, API-key auth, pagination
• Experience with data pipelines and orchestration (scheduling, retries, sequencing, monitoring)
• Solid SQL and ability to reason about data models and transformations
• Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, CRM, or ERP systems
• Strong documentation habits
