Software Engineer - OpenStack (Remote, Netherlands)

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality software and features for OpenStack and Ceph deployment and management
• Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team to design technical solutions
• Debug complex technical issues and implement reliable fixes
• Review code and contribute constructive feedback
• Ensure OpenStack and Ceph operate across multiple hardware architectures
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions using Python

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, STEM, or related discipline
• Professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with at least two of: Ubuntu Linux, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Ceph, AI/ML, QEMU/KVM
• Experience with OpenStack, OVN, Open vSwitch, or related cloud/infrastructure technologies
• Experience with non-x86 architectures (ARM64, s390, Power) is highly valuable
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, debugging, code review, collaborative
