Software Engineer, Prediction Markets Platform

📋 Description

• Build and run Go backend services that list and settle event contracts around the clock.
• Move existing workflows from Python/Airflow to Go services and durable job processing.
• Build data integrations with sports and market providers, with careful handling of retries
• Implement settlement rules and edge cases, including corrections, cancellations, and voided
• Contribute to design docs and code reviews, and own features from design through production.
• Build operator tools using React/TypeScript for manual listing, settlement, and approvals.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years building production backend services.
• Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in another backend language plus a clear willingness to
• Hands-on Postgres experience, including schema design, writing efficient queries, transactions, and
• Understanding of concurrency, idempotency, and failure handling in distributed systems.
• A record of shipping and running services on your own.
• Clear communication and an interest in growing into technical leadership.
