Speech Language Pathologist, (SLP) - Home Health

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients who have speech, language, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop a treatment plan based on the evaluation, physician's orders, and goals.
• Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan with BAYADA clinicians in the multidisciplinary care team.
• Educate and instruct patients and families in rehabilitative care to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.

🎯 Requirements

• Current NC license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech from ASHA (CCC-SLP) or equivalent.
• Educational/work experience requirements for certification or awaiting certification exam.
• Be in the process of accumulating supervised work experience required for certification.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
