Sr Accountant - Payroll

📋 Description

• Reconcile multiple payroll liability accounts and prepare required general ledger adjustments.
• Manage payroll tax requirements for employees working remotely across different states, including
• Submit payroll tax payments and prepare and file applicable state tax returns.
• Support the analysis and preparation of payroll data for regulatory, legal, and other reporting
• Assist with year-end payroll processes and provide backup coverage for essential payroll activities
• Coordinate payroll tax returns for not-for-profit organizations and other non-healthcare

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Relevant accounting work experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting, reconciliations, and general ledger adjustments.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Experience managing payroll tax processes across multiple jurisdictions is valuable.
