Sr Additive Manufacturing Engineer, PBF

📋 Description

• Serve as technical owner for PBF hardware, process-control systems, and high-risk changes.
• Own build preparation, print strategy, manufacturing planning, and execution for PBF hardware.
• Provide feedback to design teams on printability and manufacturability trade-offs.
• Define and improve PBF process specs, verification requirements, and release docs.
• Lead cross-functional investigations of material failures, machine errors, and nonconformances.
• Translate design, material, quality, and production needs into build strategies and verification plans.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related field.
• 4+ years in metal additive manufacturing, preferably aerospace.
• Deep understanding of laser powder bed fusion controls, qualification, risk, and inspection.
• Experience owning AM products through lifecycle including machining and post-processing.
• Experience developing, qualifying, and certifying AM parts for production, aerospace.
• Experience with AM tools (EOSprint, Magics, 3dxpert, Flow) and CAD tools (NX or SolidWorks).
