📋 Description

• Define and drive a long-term AI/ML architectural vision aligned with Twilio’s goals.
• Own the strategic roadmap for ML/AI Ops platform and tooling across deployment and lifecycle.
• Evaluate and implement modern LLM architectures, RAG systems, and inference optimization.
• Lead architecture for agentic AI systems including orchestration and grounding.
• Stay current with evolving LLMs, agent frameworks, and AI infrastructure.
• Transition from executive briefings to deep-dive code reviews and pairing.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years software engineering; 6+ years building ML systems at platform level.
• Extensive ML Ops and LLM Ops patterns, metrics, retraining loops, monitoring.
• Deep expertise in production ML/AI systems: transformers, LLM orchestration, embeddings.
• Context Engineering lifecycle: semantic retrieval, contextual compression, multi-turn state.
• Cloud-based services on AWS, GCP, or Azure with high-volume data stores.
• Master's or Ph.D. in CS, ML, DS or related field.
