Sr. Backend Engineer, Integrations Tooling

📋 Description

• Own platform initiatives end-to-end: scope, design, build, ship, maintain
• Drive design for new integration infra: services, queues, data pipelines
• Lead projects with junior/mid engineers; boost productivity
• Identify and eliminate classes of problems, not patching bugs
• Set technical direction in ambiguous problem spaces
• Collaborate with IE and adjacent teams to meet consumer needs

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend engineering
• Computer Science degree or comparable experience
• Experience designing/operating services with concurrency, failure modes, and scale
• Experience with backend platforms: services, queues, data pipelines, async processing
• Strong systems design; defend tradeoffs and foresee failure modes
• Autonomous leadership on ambiguous, multi-quarter projects
• AI-forward mindset; willingness to advance AI projects
