Sr. Backend Engineers (Card Platform)

📋 Description

• Write lots of code for backend (either Kotlin or Python) with high degree of standards for quality
• Design system and contribution in implementation.
• Work cross functionally with colleagues in Product, Analytics and other engineering teams across
• Build APIs and data models to work within service oriented and event-driven architectures.
• Participate in the various engineering on-call processes that support team growth and efficiency by
• Work with our Product team to extend our core decisioning service; building new risk and fraud

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a backend sr. software engineer in either Python or Kotlin language.
• Strong understanding of any relational database system best practices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and how architectural decisions affect performance and
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be proficient in asynchronous mode of
• Project management skills–high degree of organization and ability to surface critical information
• Passion for working with multi-functional teams including Product, Design, Analytics and Business
