📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day engineering execution with clear priorities and quality.
• Manage Web Services engineers and contractors, including coaching and development.
• Translate product direction and priorities into coordinated engineering plans.
• Establish team processes, workflows, and rhythms for clarity and accountability.
• Maintain product and architectural context to evaluate tradeoffs and risks.
• Improve engineering practices: code review, testing, release readiness, observability, and debt management.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of industry experience with 10+ years in engineering leadership in software/SaaS/hosted services.
• 5+ years of people management in engineering, including coaching and career development.
• Experience leading senior technical teams, budgets, and cross-functional partnerships.
• Experience translating direction into clear execution plans, ownership models, and delivery practices.
• Technical depth to understand tradeoffs, release risks, architecture, security, and observability.
• Strong communication and relationship-building for clarity and accountability.
