Sr. Legal Counsel, US & Canada

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate high-volume commercial contracts in North America.
• Support RFPs/RFIs from clients; participate in pitches to win business.
• Provide strategic legal advice to key stakeholders.
• advising on IP, licensing, rights of publicity, and clearance matters.
• Ensure alignment with global standards and develop templates/tools.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (NY/CA preferred)
• 4-6 years of experience in commercial contracts (in-house or big law)
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills; ability to translate legal issues to business advice
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams
• Experience supervising attorneys is a plus
