Sr. Manager, Packaging Engineering & Procurement

📋 Description

• Own packaging development from concept through commercialization for new product launches, line
• Lead packaging trials, line validations, and performance testing to ensure primary, secondary, and
• Partner with R&D, Operations, Quality, Marketing, Creative, and external manufacturing partners
• Influence cross-functional decision-making by communicating technical and commercial tradeoffs and
• Develop and maintain packaging technical standards and specifications, including component
• Own strategic sourcing and procurement strategy for the packaging portfolio, including supplier

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial
• 7+ years of relevant experience in packaging engineering, packaging development, strategic
• Demonstrated technical expertise in developing and commercializing primary, secondary, and tertiary
• Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, including supplier negotiations, cost modeling
• Experience in home care, personal care, or beauty, particularly with powders, tablets, or
• Experience sourcing glass, flexible packaging, fiber-based packaging, closures
