Sr Mechanical Engineer II

📋 Description

• Drive product development from concept to manufacturing
• Lead ideation of architectures for subsystems and systems
• Construct and analyze high-fidelity proof-of-concept prototypes
• Perform detailed mechanical analysis via FEA, tolerance analysis, testing
• Collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders
• Work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 9 years of product design experience in high-end consumer electronics
• Proficiency with Creo or similar 3D CAD software
• Design experience for plastic injection molded, stamped metal, die-cast, machined parts
• Familiarity with adhesives and bonded joint design
• Experience designing for a high level of dust/water ingress protection
• Experience with PCB/PCBA flex circuit and other electro-mechanical integration
• Strong DFM/DFA skills, with emphasis on part/assembly tolerance management
